Athletics Tryouts 

Our fall Athletics are up and running this week and last Friday saw us host the other High Schools in the Northeast for a Football Jamboree. We encourage students to get involved as athletics is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and gain leadership experience. Any interested students with questions should see Mr. Blondin in the PE office. 

 

Lanyards 

At Nelson Mandela we ask that all staff, students and visitors wear a lanyard while in the building. The reason for this is that it helps us know who belongs in the building and who doesn’t. Lanyards help keep everyone safe and an expectation in many workplaces today.  

 

Extended Absences 

Students and families need to contact the office or their Assistant Principal if they are going to miss an extended period of time. This is especially true if gone for the month of September. If you are receiving this email, it is because your child is registered to attend Nelson Mandela, if something has changed over the summer, please contact the school as soon as possible. Students who have attended no classes by September 28^th will be withdrawn and will have re-register when they return. ​
