School Updates

  • School Council Meeting – April 21
Families are reminded that our next School Council Meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 21. All parents and guardians are welcome, and we encourage you to attend to stay informed and engaged in our school community.
  • Water Guns and Water Fights
As the weather warms up, we want to remind students and families that water guns and water fights are not permitted on school property. These activities create safety concerns and regularly result in calls from our surrounding community. Students who bring water guns or take part in water fights will have items confiscated and may lose parking privileges. If expectations are not followed, we may be required to close the parking lot. We appreciate your support in helping students make safe, respectful choices and in maintaining positive relationships with our neighbours.
  • Robotics Team Wraps the Season by Hosting Flying With the (United) Squadron
Congratulations to our Robotics team on wrapping up their season by hosting the second Flying with the Squadron Tournament. Our teams competed with determination, and our senior students took on major leadership roles throughout the event, including robot inspecting, refereeing, and serving as MCs. Their leadership and professionalism showcased the strength of our program and the future of FIRST Tech Challenge. We were proud to host teams from William Aberhart, Diefenbaker, North Trail, Springbank Community School, and the Alberta Tech Alliance Association, with our own Team 7277 competing on the final field for a banner. Please join us in congratulating all Robotics students on their hard work and commitment this season.
